Our cycling holidays in Spain are ideal for all abilities. We have developed these biking tours in wonderful cycling regions , lovely quiet roads , friendly hotels and country inns which are very typical Spanish.
Catalonia , Northern Spain and Majorca being ideal for first time cycle tourist. Whereas Rioja and our tour in Andalusia is only ideal for experienced cyclists.

Cycle and Culture in Andalusia 7 night level 2-3 self guided tour
Your start location is Alhama de Granada an ancient Moorish settlement situated half way between Granada and Malaga in the Poniente Granadino region of Granada. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and lakes, and built on the edge of a huge gorge, Alhama has many traditional bars and restaurants and is the perfect base to start your cycling holiday. Your circular tour will take you to Granada and a chance to visit the Alhambra Palace, along with many wonderful rural Spanish towns and villages

Asturias - The Green Coast of Spain A 7 night level 2 self guided cycle tour
The green north coast of the Iberian penninsula makes the perfect setting for a cycling holiday. In the distance you see wonderful hills and some more mountainous terrain, you cycle past the coastal ranges of El Cuera and El Sueve in the shadow of the impressive snowy peaks of the Picos de Europa. Passing tiny coves and charming coastal villages, you ride from Cantabria into Asturias. Some of your routes follow sections of the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago de Compostela (Saint James’ Way) so you will find ruins and Romanesque chapels along the way. The cider-making capital of Villaviciosa makes a good introduction to Asturian gastronomy before sending you off to the friendly city of Gijon for a tapas feast to celebrate the end of a satisfying journey.

You will stay at two charming accommodations one is a classic Mallorquin farmhouse built in the 15th century and surrounded by vineyards, apricot, citrus and almond orchards; the other is an elegant hotel in the historic centre of Pollença, one of the most beautiful towns of the entire island. Castles of Andalusia - 7 night level 3 cycle tour
We have designed this cycling holiday for the more experienced cyclist and we have racing cycles to rent. Our cycling tour of some of the Moorish castles of ‘Al-Andalus’ begins in Alhama de Granada. Part of the Moorish kingdom ruled from the 7th to the 14th century. We shall the loop north to Montefrio , Priego de Cordoba, Iznajar before making our way back to Alhama de Granada. It is really an epic journey through time , on superb roads and wonderful scenery.

Sweet Catalonia A 7 night level 2 self guided cycle tour
This cycling holiday is in the region of fhe Penedés which is a beautiful region South of Barcelona. Away from the crowded beachlines of Sitges you’ll find a quiet and authentic rural area where good wines and the famous Cava (champagne) is produced. The landscape has been compared with Tuscany and is really very suitable for a cycling tour. Cycling in Catalonia ( Catalunya ) 7 Night easy self guided bike tour.
In the north of Catalunya volcanic cones mark the green landscape of La Garrotxa Natural Park. In this park we have selected the comfortable rural hotel Can Blanc as your home base for several rather easy cycle tours, although you may venture further up into the foothills of the Pyrenees. Can Blanc has a private swimming pool and is only a few steps away from one of the best restaurants of La Garrotxa. After five days you follow a Via Verde -an old train track which has been converted to a quiet cycling trail- through the rural landscape right into the old centre of Girona. You can spend your last day in this medieval town, with colourful houses overhanging the river, but it’s also possible to follow the Via Verde to the coast.

Cycling holiday in Cantabria - 7 night level 3 tour in Northern Spain.
The tour starts not far from Santander and travels along the coast westwards before heading inland along the foothills of the Picos Mountains. The tour finishes with a wonderful descent down to Somo. Following the Pilgrim route across Northern Spain to Santiago. A tour part off road and on road across these mountain region before descending to the plains. On your cycle route obtain stamps on your Camino passport and on completion of the Pilgrimage visit the cathedral for your certificate.

Cycling in the Rioja Wine Region - 8 night easy to medium group tour
Our tour follows the Ebro River inland through the famous wine growing regions of the area. This tour starts near the source of this great river high in the hills and travels in a general south direction down stream. This region is simple little explored by the normal tourist and is therefore extremely quiet and nice cycling region. Many chances to sample the famous wine during your evening dinners
